I do prefer to have my coffee from a nice ceramic or porcelain cup, over a plastic or paper one.
Same for thermos/flasks - I always take a separate cup;)
In a cold climate like the UK, I also prefer to have the rim of my cup warm; a warm rim feels better against my mouth😆
Your photos of the special cups that shop provided, are nice though.
