RE: Alameed Me Some Coffee; A Review

It's so nice to seeing you getting immersed into a new culture. Yeah, corner shops are big in UK and not to mention many of the countries that I've lived in. They are convenient and it's good to support the local community.

Haha! The kettle is cute, indeed!

I've never seen one like it before, but it's the kind of thing we'd use on the boat... anything manual.

You seem to be enjoying Jordan, and I think that everything is smoother since Yaz speaks the language and is used to a similar culture, right?

Kicks like a mule

Now, that's my kinda coffee.

I used to have a coffee cup set like that. My husband called them my egg cups 🤣

On another note: I'm curious to know what you think of the size of ice cream scoops there compared to the US. That was the biggest shocker for me when I went to live in Europe. A single cone in Jamaica is the size of 3 scoops from a normal person or 4 scoops from a heavy-handed server.

I think 'sip' is funny though:)))

It's interesting that corner shops are the place to go in much of the world— maybe it's just the US where they are a giant rip off for anything outside of smokes and beer haha!

I'm not sure I'd like Jordan as much if Yaz were not a native Arabic speaker, outside of tourist areas most people do not speak any English, and my Arabic is terrible at best still. 😂 The culture here has a lot of similarities with Syria, but Jordanians do not have the welcoming and hospitable nature the way Syrians do, which throws Yaz through a loop sometimes.

All in all we've been loving our time here though!

This cracked me up (no egg pun intended) cause I can picture one fitting perfectly into them! 😂

Hmmm, as for the ice cream, now I want to go visit a proper shop to find out! We bought some pre-packaged cones and those were small scoops. It was notable that the ice cream tasted WAY better though! I bet I'd love getting a cone in Jamaica, heavy handed is the right way to do ice cream in my book 😎

I get that! I observed something similar when I was in Bali compared to the Philippines.

🤣

Take as many photos as you can. You might not feel to write about all your experiences at once, but maybe a few months/years down the line, you'd regret not having taken photos.
I've been reading some horror stories about Dubai and unmarried couples, and it looks like Jordan is proving to be a better destination anyhow. I think culturally, it has way more to offer 😍
