As I said in my last blog, I'm very introverted and I mostly enjoy being alone. One day I realized I no longer had the desire for gatherings. I don't know when it started because I've always liked being around a lot of people. But as days went by, I always tried to be better and at least have people in my life even just a few. Lately, I've been craving coffee with just a few close friends, catching up on all the things we share in common. So after office, I invited my newfound friends in the office to have a coffee date after shift. On our way to the coffee shop that's popular in the area, we already had a lot of topics that we talked about.
We ordered Vietnamese Iced Coffee and we're so much in love with the drip easily. The taste is so good and just perfect for the kind of coffee that we want. Upon sipping the coffee, we laughed about the things that we talked about a lot of topics, especially our different experiences in the office. I love how coffee really brings us together. It's amusing when you begin to realize that the important things in life aren't the big things. Knowing that no matter how hectic life gets, I can always have my cup of coffee with people who are willing to listen.
The iced coffee is so refreshing that we don't even notice that we already have an empty cup. But the different stories still continue while we are watching the busy roads and sun setting from our seats. It's so peaceful that we don't even wanna go home. When people choose to give me a piece of themselves, it always makes my heart smile. like when they decide to be honest and have meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee. That's why I really love coffee, it not only makes me awake, but it also brings the comfort that I always looking for.
It has lots of books in the coffee shop, and I saw this book called "Toilets of the World". I thought it was kind of a joke book, but I found myself actually going through it, every page became so interesting. And I found this one toilet that easily became my favorite one, it's "The Embarcadero Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco California". Visitors to San Francisco's Fisherman Wharf can hide out in this automated public restroom for fifty cents to avoid the crowds. For an additional fifty cents, the statue-like street performer comes to life and starts making robotic clicks.
We will probably be going back here very soon, and I'm glad for my newfound friends from the office. Others may not see much significance in these things, but for me, they are precious moments that I fought hard for throughout my life. A cup of coffee is proof that I managed to break some walls, I would treasure that for the rest of my life.

Having a coffee in the company and with friends is the best and they are moments that are priceless and will always remain to be remembered. Where that place looks really cool and the coffee they ordered is amazing and I think I'd like to try one of those. In addition, the book in that place allows you to stay longer and ask for another round of coffee hahaha. Good luck and keep enjoying.

Ahhh, just like me, I just thought I don't need no one and I'm fine on my own. Since then, I just stop going out and even declined a lot of invitation from my former classmates. I jusy don't feel like it, and I prefer to stay at home. Even until now. I often go out with my Moms lang, pero with friends, can't remember na when was the last time.
Anyways, coffee with friends is awesome! Especially if both of you is a coffee lover.
You can try to hang out sometimes with some of your friends lang. Promise, ang worth it. Try to get in touch with them and invite them to your regular spot for coffee. You have lots of stories to tell for sure. 😊

I never really liked coffee when I was younger. It puzzles me how my then co workers (the ones older than me) enjoy having multiple cups everyday but as I age, I realize that just having a sip of coffee can take your mind off of you worries--even just until the caffeine leaves your system.

Adulting really makes us love the coffee that we used to hate as a kid, the bitterness really helped us to wake up in this tiring world. Vietnamese Iced coffee is a must-try, you can try it with your friends too! 😊
OMG yes! There's this kanto-style (take-out nook) coffee shop around my neighborhood that serves gooood coffee and one of my go-to coffee from them is Vietnamese. Just haven't tried it from But First, Coffee yet. Dami kasi laging tao!! Hahaha

In my country it is not common to drink iced coffee, for me it is a novelty, it must taste delicious and more in the company of people with interesting conversations.
