Okay, so picture this: Cebu City, hot and buzzing. I decided to check out two places everyone raves about: the Casa Gorordo Museum and Bo's Cafe, both super close to each other at 35 Eduardo Aboitiz St. It turned out to be the perfect combo of history and yummy treats!

First stop: Bo's Coffee. It's right next to the museum, which is super handy. I've been to other Bo's Coffee before, and the prices here were exactly the same – always a good thing! I grabbed a coffee and a pastry; they were delicious, just what I needed to start my day.

The cafe itself is a total lifesaver, especially in Cebu's heat. It's air-conditioned, which is a HUGE plus. Seriously, if you're a student needing a quiet place to study, or if you just want to chill out without having to deal with a crowded mall, this is your spot. It's so peaceful and comfy. I could have easily spent the whole afternoon there, just relaxing with my coffee.

The best part? The big windows! You get a great view of the street outside, which is really cool. It's like you're part of the city's buzz, but still tucked away in your own little quiet corner. They also have some tables outside if you want to sit and people-watch.

After my coffee break, it was time for the museum. Important note: no food or drinks allowed inside. So, make sure you finish your Bo's goodies before you go in! The entrance fee for students is only 50 pesos, which is super affordable. The Casa Gorordo Museum itself was amazing! (I'll write another blog post all about it later). It's like stepping back in time; you learn so much about Cebu's history. It was fascinating to see how people lived in the past and how things have changed. The whole experience was really interesting and made me appreciate Cebu's rich culture even more.

The best thing about combining the museum and the cafe is that it made for a really well-rounded day. I got to learn something new and then relax and recharge with a tasty treat. It was the perfect balance of education and enjoyment.

So, if you're ever in Cebu City, you absolutely HAVE to check out both places. It's a fantastic way to spend a day, experiencing both the historical and modern sides of this amazing city. Trust me, you won't regret it! It's a perfect mix of culture and caffeine, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu. It's a day I'll definitely remember for a long time!
