The love that could not be [ESP/ENG]
Hello Hive community, are you ready for a sad love story that doesn't involve people? I invite you to know this outcome.
This story goes back to the year 2018, in what was the best university period for me, and where I got to know what university life was like. At that time I used to spend a lot of time away from my house in meetings and gatherings, but I didn't always have a nice and cheap place to be... Until the day I met love made coffee.
In a very small space, a cafeteria that had only three tables, a barista and a coffee machine, but with an attention and quality of products that cannot be quantified, I was able to find what little by little would become my place safe and favorite to spend the afternoons.
Comcafé was a growing cafeteria where they sold different types of hot and cold coffees, accompanied by delicious stuffed cakes, and they also had breakfasts. But best of all, they had a 30% discount for students! That definitely got me. And not just me, the word spread quickly and many friends and colleagues also made Comcafé their favorite place to kill their cravings.
This is how Comcafé became a frequent place to go, almost becoming part of my routine; 7 days a week, I could go up to 4 or 5 days. A funny anecdote was one day I was drinking coffee and when I said goodbye the barista told me "See you tomorrow", to which I replied "I don't think I'll come tomorrow, it's not good for my economy that I come every day"... You can imagine who appeared the next day at the premises 😂
My favorite coffee was the bonbon, which is a coffee with milk that has condensed milk in the bottom (the sweeter the better) and I loved accompanying it with a small cake with oreos topping. The cakes were so good that sometimes they ran out super fast, so much so that once I arrived and they didn't have a cake, but since I already had confidence with the owner and the workers, when they saw my disappointment they went to buy Oreos cookies specifically for me.

Given the frequency with which I went, it was a matter of time to reach that level of confidence, there was already a sense of familiarity with the place, and it was very nice to have special treatment on occasions. One day I went with Mariale, a close friend, and for her it was shocking that they gave us a coffee for the house; Since then, she always says that it's a matter of time before I make friends with the owners of any place that I really like.
And it all sounds very nice, but here comes the sad side of this story. Comcafé was in a small place that few knew about, and most of the customers were students, so when we had vacations their sales dropped. Noticing this, together with my friends we tried to take the necessary steps to bring Comcafé to the University; however, the bureaucracy played against us and we were waiting for an answer.
Months later, the saddest news reached us: the owner of Comcafé had passed away. None of us could believe it, we were shocked by the news and very sad at the loss of a person who radiated kindness and good vibes. Unfortunately, the place had to close and we not only lost a person but also a space that felt like home.
Since Comcafé my expectations with coffee shops are very high, I feel that none reach their level.
As a friend once told us:
Hello there!
That's a lovely little cafe with seating that looks comfortable, and convenient for hanging out. The coffee and pastries look divine too:)))

I remembered a place where I went regularly, the coffee was delicious and the music was wonderful. The first time I thought I would not return, but then I was there every weekend, hehehe.
Thanks for sharing.
Good day.
Yeah! sometimes we get magical places that make us come back again and again
As I read your narrative I fell more and more in love with its ambiance and warm reception. It is not easy to find an all-inclusive place like this small space.
Too bad what happened to its owner
Greetings @nanyala
It was really a very nice place, the beautiful moments there always accompanies me
I imagine that there were not enough tables if the word began to spread in the university and more if there are discounts you were a regular customer, never yesterday tasted coffee with condensed milk must be delicious 😋.
Yes, at some point it became the meeting place for many students
