Oh how we would get along! I'm the same when traveling - I usually try to bring my moka pot and some coffee with me wherever I go (though of course, luggage allowances only stretch so far sometimes). It's a major positive sign for any place I'm staying at when they have proper coffee-making tools like a moka pot :D Love watching the coffee come out.

Ah, after my own heart indeed. I'm always slightly offended when I see moka pots at the store with indications like "this makes 4 cups" or 6. I'm always thinking "but I use that to only make one!" :)))

Colombia is one of the main producers of coffee, they are of high quality so, I have no doubt that you have tasted one of the many successful and exquisite coffees. How spectacular that you have your implements to prepare your coffee by hand, and yes Colombia is the mother of coffee, I remember a visit I made to Bogotá and I went to a market where a store stole the attention of many tourists, when everything arrived, everything was coffee and chocolate, they gave me to try a delicious coffee and some cocoa cookies with coffee beans psss heaven.

I am no longer amazed to see these thousand-word posts about coffee. I've seen you in an impromptu conversation with a barista that lasted minutes. I believe me, that waking up in the company of nature and with a good coffee is a great experience to start the day.

I don't think that in that mode in which you woke up, with a coffee that you for sure enjoyed and being a lover as you are of that drink of the gods, you can have the speed of lightning to photograph squirrels. So crazy they are... restless and beautiful. I saw them even though they are not in pictures. I can imagine what it was like.
