Hello, everyone. how are you? I hope you're okay. Let me tell you about a place that became my favorite place to work, other than at home. This place is very close to my house. If I get tired of working at home, this place becomes my choice to work. The name of this place is starbucks. For whoever buys coffee around here, these cofffeeshop always leave a good impression on their customers. Including me.
Oh yes, this place is in Salemba, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. This place just opened in 2020. This outlet is open during the covid pandemic. actually starbuck is deliberately opening outlets for people who are tired of working at home. However, this coffee shop does not provide green open space.
Judging from the room, this place is indeed used as an alternative to work other than home when outside the home. Spacious, beautiful and simple. I feel like home. The seats are clean and soft. Not many people visit this place. It makes me comfortable working here. If my sentence is over, I will choose this place to work.
Another thing, Starbucks uses the concept of "starbuck experience" which means that visitors have a connection with this outlet (coffeshop). it starts between diners and staff or baristas. Not infrequently, many customers who often return to this place because of the concept. That's how I felt when I was here. why because the staff at every Starbucks outlet are very friendly. my experience being at this outlet is the staff is very friendly. Starting off, the barista asked me if the coffee I ordered was takeaway or dine in. Oh yes, the staff also asked me to comply with the health protocols set by the Indonesian government.
I am surprised by the facilities, because many coffeeshops forget the health protocols. In Indonesia, many people think that Covid is gone. Therefore, health policy is often ignored. In this place I was also asked to use a hand sanitizer. Apart from that, the staff here are very friendly. And the staff seem to be friends of the customers.
Oh yeah, what you should know is that there are power outlets on every table. This makes it easier for working customers to charge their laptops or cellphones. By the way, I've come to this place twice. The baristas know me well, they recognized my previous order. For me, it's a good way for customers to stay connected with this place.
I have experience in 2019. From the first week, I went to starbucks three times after work or on sundays. Every time I come, the barista always asks "what coffee do you usually order?". however, when I was not at the Starbucks outlet for 2 weeks, the baristas would ask about my health first before writing the order.
By the way, I forgot to tell you about the coffee and food I ordered. I ordered an iced americano and an almond croissant. I think both of these foods are suitable to accompany me to work. It's nice that there's a Starbucks close to your place. The friendly barista makes it different than many cafes out there. They are able to remember your order if you are a frequent customer and even they can remember your name. Once you get to know them, they will also casually have conversation with you. Even if it's their marketing tricks, it's still nice that they at least talk to their customer.
