The child with coffee bean eyes [EN/PT]

[EN]

In a faraway kingdom where the sun rarely appeared there was a high mountain and on top of it an old castle with its dark towers.
The nearest village was more than two kilometers away, but on the darkest, rainiest, coldest nights, a child's crying could be heard in the distance coming from that castle.
The wisest villagers in the nearest village were afraid to approach it, they thought the castle was haunted, stories were told that it must be spirits that were there, since no one could live in that place.
☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
One day a young adventurer arrived in the village, humming along, and carrying with him a long stick and a cloth wrapped in coffee beans.
Everyone in the village was anxious about the visit of that stranger, and the oldest villager asked this adventurer what he had come to do, and he very confidently said, I have come to save that boy from his crying, clearly referring to the crying of the child that came from the castle towers.
Many villagers mocked this adventurer, and told him to turn back that the castle was cursed, but the young adventurer paid them no mind, and continued on his way.
Night fell and once again the cry of a child came along with the wind and rain towards the village.
No one saw the adventurer again, he had headed towards the castle, but no one knew about him, many thought he would never return.
☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
The child's cry seemed to be getting closer and closer to the village and on that particular night, it seemed like it was getting closer.
Suddenly the child's crying stopped, night turned to day and in the distance on the path two silhouettes could be seen, one of the adventurer and the other of a child holding his hand.
The villagers, not knowing what to do, some cried, others prayed, others fled in fear, while the adventurer approached that village with the child by the hand.
Upon reaching the villagers, they managed to see a child with wide open, brown eyes like two shiny coffee beans, and it was then that the adventurer told them that the boy was crying because his eyes had been taken away by an evil witch because she didn't like coffee, and that the boy's eyes were like two huge, shiny coffee beans, and only someone with the courage to face this witch, someone with a pure heart, could give the child his coffee eyes back.
☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
This curse had been made by the evil witch since that child's parents were coffee farmers and the evil witch decided to abolish the coffee plantation in that kingdom as a plague, and as that child's parents wanted to continue and stood up to this evil witch, she cursed the child by taking away his coffee bean eyes.
From that moment on, that child became the king of that village and the bag that the adventurer carried with him was used to plant long coffee plantations and thus the curse ended.

Bzzt, quel post interessante!
