I don't need to admit that I'm a coffee addict. Those who know me immediately notice this.
I arrive here with joy and discover a question related to my favorite time of day to spend with friends at a coffee shop, and I'm encouraged to try to answer it.
Truly, any moment is a special time to enjoy a good cup of coffee with friends.
If I had to choose a specific moment, I'd say mornings or afternoons, at sunset. But I repeat, any time of day, as long as it's shared with special people, is fantastic. And if it's in a unique place in my city, like this Café Literario located right in the city center, even better.
Sometimes you arrive alone and think you'll be drinking coffee alone.
But no. A friend always comes to this place to join you, because my friends are also coffee addicts!
And suddenly, we're talking about poetry and sports psychology, just like this time with Baby, a great singer, writer, and friend, who is also the mother of two talented daughters, whom I treat in my role as a sports psychologist.
Here in these photographs, you can see us analyzing a Taek Won Do match between one of her daughters.
With coffee and friends, it's even easier to talk about work.
Suddenly, the place transforms its stillness to delight us with the performance of some artists, and we change places to get a better panoramic view.
I often visit this place for the value that still exists in its dynamic. It's a café decorated with a minimalist aesthetic that recalls glimpses of a vintage era, contrasting with the surrounding architecture. You can enjoy the view through the glass windows that allow you to see the city's downtown area.
When you arrive just wanting to have a coffee, you may be surprised by literary and artistic activities of high cultural value.
You might find an internationally renowned poet reciting his work, or a singer enlivening the place with her melodic voice.
And I return to this café again and again. Sometimes to reflect on the transcendence of time, or simply not to think...
And new friends arrive and one smiles again...
They even give you their books!
Nothing, a Cuban coffee, at any time, with friends, is much better enjoyed!
