RE: CLOSED - Coffee Conversation: EVENT 78 - AUG 3 - 5

Happy Saturday!

I don't remember the exact age when I started drinking coffee. What I do remember is that it was at an early age, let's say around 6 years old... Since then, habits have not changed. As far back as I can remember, coffee has been present since the morning. The coffee-making implements in my grandmother's kitchen, in my mother's house, and now in our house have served us for as long as I can remember...

My mother taught my son Andrés to eat bread with coffee with milk with bread when he was around a year old, just starting to walk. In my family, coffee has been more than a tradition, because it has set the standards for upbringing.

Sort:

I have always said that in our culture, coffee is more than a drink, it is part of our lives from a very young age.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this Saturday.☕

You have to be Venezuelan to know that. You have to have been born and raised in Venezuela. It also depends on the regions, in the East coffee is a part of life.
Happy Saturday too, @rinconpoetico7

I never knew what coffee was at such young until I grew up into an adult. We were never brought up with drinking coffee in the family.

Every family has its own customs and that is what makes them unique. Here in Cumaná, where I live, the first one founded on the American continent, there is a lot of tradition around coffee, that must culturally influence our experiences and customs.
Nice to meet you, @princessbusayo.

You are right. Every family with their customs and traditions, that is what makes life fun.
It's my pleasure, nice meeting you, too 😎 😊

Thanks...likewise 😎 😊, @princessbusayo

Same. It can't be helped if it was introduced to us at a young age.

That's how it is...

Hahaha, that's it..., @ayane-chan

Dipping bread in hot coffee ❤️ Yum-yum! My nephew certainly loves coffee; now that he's a young man, he has it without sugar. This becomeing part of the tradition, too 😁

6 years old is really low age in terms of coffee drinking here in Bulgaria. Usually people don’t start drinking coffee before high school or even later!

Well that's how it was. Actually in Cumanà drinking coffee is an upbringing habit...very deep-rooted, @mdosev

Wow, I understand, How interesting...to know that customs differ so much between countries, @mdosev

Wow too young to drink coffee, but that's how it was in earlier times, coffee accompanied many moments of our families.

I love coffee with milk and bread, sweet or salty for me is traditional 🙂 ☕🥖.

My mom gave me bottles of coffee ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... ☕🥖.That's right, @cirangela ...we used to be coffee drinkers from a very early age...

Wow you started quiet early I was older because they were saying caffeine is not good for children, unless for health reasons who will ever want to stop taking coffee, both the smell and taste are just too good.

Yes...that's what they say...🤔🧐
The truth is that coffee has never made me feel bad...😆😃

You came to coffee at an early age... I think it is the universal drink. Have a great week full of good coffee....

Yeah.
Likewise for you, @chacald.dcymt
