Colao Café a cafeteria to enjoy and learn, that is the slogan that this beautiful place receives where apart from tasting hot drinks, breakfast and desserts you can share with beautiful and talented people. Here we met Gabriel, he is the boy who appears in the photo who, apart from being cute, is a model, bartender and plastic artist.
We also met Johana and her daughter, both artists and cartoonists. Excuse me for not telling you why we went to "Colao Café" because this place left me totally dazzled with its decoration, the museum-like atmosphere, how relaxing and attractive it was to stay and live.
Now yes, I think I have told you that I work in radio and we have a program called "Tajada y Paladar" where we play Anglo-Saxon music, we talk a little about the lyrics in Spanish or their translation, of course about food, drinks and places where we can go for a drink with good company whether they are family or friends among other interests. That is where the interest lies, because my cabin mate has many projects and ideas; he organized a drawing contest and it was in Colao Café where the event took place.
And it was obvious that he would invite me, and that my son Salvador likes to draw, so I decided to motivate him to participate and we left. The competition was very relaxed and the participant chose the time to arrive, the space and even ordered something from the cafeteria. We got there first so while
My son made his drawing without hesitation. I took the opportunity to take photos, to ask about the history of the place and to meet the "angel Gabriel" because without words, he is a natural beauty. It was so much that the girls who were there could not contain the impression and murmured among themselves, how handsome he was, the style of clothes that he was wearing aside that suited him very well.
In relation to coffee, it is not machine-made nor is it gourmet, on the contrary, as its name says in the cafeteria, it is colao, said to be a very indigenous experience of our land, that is, it is made with the hands in a very traditional way, passing it through a casting magician. What makes this place even more attractive.
On the other hand, and it is very interesting that the owner and creator of the cafeteria is a historian of the city, so more than a place that rescues the values and culture of our traditions, it also has an educational purpose, since in the background there is a small library and small conference room to learn about any subject you like and once I thought of Hive and its benefits. So it will be great later to share with the people of the community from this space where there is free Wi-Fi and a place to taste and learn.
