It may have been a year since I last sipped my favorite coffee, Sanger Hot Espresso. In the past, this drink was my loyal friend when cold nights enveloped my small town in Aceh. However, one time a stomachache forced me to stop, replacing it with hot chocolate which was kinder to the body. Even so, the longing for the strong aroma and distinctive taste of coffee never really went away.
Tonight, the longing called stronger than usual. After a long time, I decided to visit Kupi Kebun Jeruk, a place that witnessed many stories and memories. The coffee shop not only sells drinks, but also an atmosphere. There, laughter, warm chats, and the distinctive aroma of coffee always fill the air.
As soon as I stepped into the shop, nostalgia immediately gripped me. Not much had changed—the wooden tables, dim lights, and friendly smile of the owner were still the same as before. The strong aroma of Aceh coffee immediately greeted me, evoking memories of nights full of warmth. My heart felt like I had returned to the home I had left long ago.
I ordered a cup of Hot Sanger Espresso. This Sanger is special, a perfect blend of black coffee, condensed milk, and a careful process, creating a taste that is second to none. When the cup arrived at the table, I looked at its slightly steaming surface. There was a feeling of emotion that was hard to explain, as if this coffee brought a message from the past.
The first sip was a magical journey of taste. The thickness of the coffee combined with the sweetness of the milk touched my tongue gently, reminding me of those long nights. Each sip seemed to reassemble the pieces of memories that had been scattered: chats with friends, long discussions, and other memorable moments.
Tonight, I not only enjoyed coffee, but also time to make peace with myself. As if the Hot Sanger Espresso that I missed was a symbol of the courage to feel again what I had left behind. Although my stomach is now more careful, I realize that occasionally making room for small happiness like this means a lot.
When the cup is empty, I feel satisfied. It's not just the taste of coffee that remains, but also the realization that memories will never truly disappear. In the midst of routines and life's journeys that are not always easy, there are simple things like a cup of coffee and an atmosphere that can bring us back to the essence of ourselves.
Tonight, I go home with a warmer heart. It feels like it's not just coffee that I drink, but also a cup of longing that has finally been cured.
You're very welcome!😊
