For today's blog, I will share one of my escapes last weekend with you. A much-needed break for me from the different workloads at school. So much work to do at school lately and even my weekend was spent on school activities. That is why I told myself I needed to go out, to recharge, and to refresh my chaotic mind. I deserve a break ☺️
I was planning for a short trip to the city to do some errands out there. To make my time worthwhile, I decided to visit one of the coffee shops near SM Consolacion, Cebu. This is my second time visiting the place, the last time I went here was in the year 2023. It was an unplanned visitation with some friends nearby and while driving towards their place, we saw this cozy cafe.
Arriving at the place, I was welcomed by the stunning view with a natural background of Mahogany Trees all over the place. The tall trees around and the cafe's natural look surely catches your attention.
While making my order, the staff is amiable and accommodating. They were approachable to all their customers' needs.
While waiting, I admired the cafe's facilities. They offer an aesthetic view from the furniture, the tables, the cottages, and their food plating, very impressive.
To recharge myself, an iced caramel frappe and a rice bowl were my order. I need to recharge myself for a loaded month full of activities. A lot to choose from on their menu, iced and hot coffee, food platters, snacks, smoothies, and other drinks. I told myself that even for once, I should treat myself to a date to encourage myself to do better for the next week to come. 🥰
After eating, and drinking your cup of coffee, you can roam around and be amazed at the shadows of trees behind. It was past noon time when I went to the cafe but still people are coming in and out of the place. I was recharged going out of the cafe.
Sitting on the edge made me think that life is full of challenges but it's beautiful, you just have to appreciate every little thing around you - nature, family, friends, your job, and everything who is there for you.
