A couple of days ago we went out to do some shopping outside our community, it was a Saturday, I was very tired actually what I wanted was to sleep, it was a sunny day.
We went to the supermarket and did our respective shopping, I left there very disappointed, because we made that relatively long trip (1 hour by motorcycle) in search of better prices and it did not go as well as we expected, the products were some at the same price and others even more expensive.
When we left there my husband told me that he wanted to take something cold because of the strong heat and that he was still waiting for us back home, so that's when we decided to go to a place called Miami Ice Cream Parlor, I had never been there to be honest, I always chose to look for a bakery, but I wanted to venture into this opportunity.
To my surprise, this was not only an ice cream shop, they also sold coffee and that really changed my thoughts of pessimism, tiredness and disappointment that I felt because of the stress of the trip, so I eagerly waited for my coffee.
Meanwhile I concentrated only on enjoying the moment with my husband, actually there are few times that we share alone outside our place of comfort, so he decided to live his moment with the ice cream and I with the coffee.
I have realized in recent days that most places here are not purely coffee shops, some are cafe-restaurants, others are cafe-bakeries and very common ice cream parlors and coffee, definitely a perfect combination.
The only thing, is that you did not have snacks to accompany my drink, they only offered me tequeños and I did not feel like it at the moment, but I remembered that I had a package of cookies for my favorites and I decided to enjoy it with my coffee.
They didn't have a variety of coffee to offer either, here they are very basic, black coffee in its different concentrations or latte coffee, I always opt for the latte because I like the details they make with the milk foam, I admire the art and dedication of the baristas.
I hope to continue accumulating moments with coffee and that we all leave pleased as today my husband with his ice cream and me with my daily favorite, coffee.

Hace un par de días salimos hacer unas compras fuera de nuestra comunidad, fue un sábado, estaba muy cansada en realidad lo que quería es dormir, estaba haciendo un sol de Dios y padre nuestro.
Fuimos al supermercado hicimos nuestras respectivas compras, salí muy decepcionada de allí, pues hicimos ese viaje relativamente largo (1hora en motocicleta) en busca de mejores precios y no nos fue tan bien como lo esperábamos, los productos estaban algunos en igual precio y otros hasta más costosos.
Al salir de allí mi esposo me dijo que quería tomar algo frío por el fuerte calor que estaba haciendo y que nos continuaba esperando de regreso a casa, entonces fue allí cuando decidimos ir a un lugar llamada Heladería Miami, nunca había entrado allí para ser sincera, siempre optaba por buscar una panadería, pero quise aventurarme en esta oportunidad.
Para mi sorpresa, está no solo era una heladería, también vendían café y eso sí que me cambio de un todo mis pensamientos de pesimismo, cansancio y decepción que sentía por el estrés del viaje, así que con muchas ansias me dispuse a esperar mi café.
Mientras tanto me concentre solo en disfrutar el momento con mi esposo, en realidad son pocas las veces que compartimos a solas fuera de nuestro lugar de confort, por lo tanto el decidió vivir su momento con el helado y yo con el café.
Me he dado cuenta en estos últimos días que aquí la mayoría de los lugares no son netamente cafeterías, algunos son café-restaurante, otros son café-panaderías y muy comunes las heladerías y café, definitivamente son una combinación perfecta.
Lo único, es que no tenías snacks para acompañar mi bebida, solo me ofrecieron tequeños y no me apetecía en el momento, pero recordé que llevaba un paquete de galletas para mis consentidos y me dispuse a disfrutarla con mi café.
Tampoco tenían una variedad de café para ofrecer, aquí son muy básicos, café negro en sus diferentes concentraciones o café latte, siempre optó por el latte porque me gusta los detalles que hacen con la espuma de la leche, admiro el arte y dedicación de los baristas.
Espero seguir acumulando momentos junto al café y que todos salgamos complacidos como hoy mi esposo con su helado y yo con mi consentido del todos los días, el café.
