New Year's Eve brainstorming
I visited one of my favorite coffee shops on New Year's Eve. I went alone, with nothing more than the desire to reflect a bit on what I've accomplished this year and how coffee, in whatever form, ends up filling me with inspiration. I immersed myself in a few retrospectives, especially the ones where they talk about new projects and wonderful friendships. I sipped slowly and patiently, while looking around calmly and indifferently. I think it's the first time I think so much about the good things left by the outgoing year, and the promises that come with the coming year. Coffee enlivens my ideas, of course, it's almost like the elixir that opens a portal to clarity and creativity.
My coffee was hot and a bit bitter. As it was still early in the morning, I was the only customer in the coffee shop. There were no disturbances, no loud noises, even though I was on the outside. I love to drink coffee without stress; this year I learned to recognize coffee shops with very pleasant and quiet environments, without bustle. I was pleased to see how many people introduced these concepts to their coffee shops, and decided to modernize them. It used to be very difficult to find a good place to drink coffee... it is quite nice that this has changed, after all, a coffee is more enjoyable if you feel comfortable with the place where you drink it.
Coffee dreams
Cataleya is usually one of the coffee shops I frequent the most because of its diversity of spaces. I love the way they serve coffee and are so attentive. I am a regular customer and I am always surprised by the new things they do to be the best. At least I love to see that in a coffee shop they are creative and give the coffee the value it deserves. The detail sometimes gets me hooked. I tend to be demanding on this point, because I consider that drinking coffee is something special for me, so I like places that detail how special a cup of this wonderful beverage is.
Someday, I dream of founding my own coffee shop, with a theme of cities around the world... at least this is what I thought while I was drinking my coffee, listening to some classical music, at a very low volume. For me, the spark of attractiveness is in the details. I think that if drinking coffee has taught me anything, it is that creativity always needs to be awake, not only to forge new worlds or ventures, but also to make them different from the rest. I fell in love with Catalaya because of that combination of orchids that, more than plants, represent in themselves a symbol. Between sips and sighs, I prayed that my coffee would never run out; sometimes, while drinking it, I get sentimental, both for what is gone and for what is yet to come.
Coffee is all that an entrepreneur and poet needs.
What is to come
This year coffee has been present in my life like never before, and that makes me very happy. While drinking, I felt that definitely without coffee I cannot be who I am now: productive, creative and more focused. Whenever I'm in a rush or stress gets the better of me, a simple cup of coffee relieves me in every way. It's wonderful, because I certainly feel that the problems are no longer so big. I think it's like a kind of liberation: you free yourself and then you think more clearly. By the year 2025 I hope that my faithful companion, bitter and without so much sugar, will be with me undertaking new ideas.
I know it will be, because coffee is man's best friend 😊.

I always feel extra special when I'm the only one in a lovely coffee shop. It's rare though, but I relate to the special feeling that you had.

Greetings friend, having a coffee in the morning in a place like that and without the presence of so many people is a very good thing, and it also allows you to have a great time. A place that looks very comfortable and I have also realized that several cafes take that style and it really gives a great touch to said space. I understand your feeling of “having a coffee in silence”. I think it can be equated to a form of meditation. In my case, it works the same way: Even though coffee is an exciting drink, it calms me down in certain contexts. When I study or write, I drink coffee. I think better that way.
