I'll take the opportunity tio get back to the promotion of the post that I tested a few days ago... There must be something I'm overseeing. Do you remember we thought it must be all small votes not to increase the reward?
There must be a different reason cause meanwhile 27 votes have been added since the promotion of the post and all are 0,000 USD. This seems impossible to me and it is because someone I know upvoted with 30% and his votes are always worth quite a lot. impossible that his 30% are 0,000 USD. So there must be another reason why not getting them or why they aren't showing up or there could be another place to see where the value of these upvotes is?

Maybe those users (regardless of Hive Power, Voting Percentage, and Voting Mana) who voted your post already voted beyond the 7-day reward payment window. 🤓 Since the 25th Hive Hard Fork, users can upvote (or downvote) posts and comments beyond the post payout time at the end of the 7th day of the content, but all of them will be worth exactly $0.00. 🤓🤓

Than it doesn't make any sense to promote a post after the "normal" period of 7 days has passed.
And certainly not for a 7-days period. But WHY there is an option for 14 days promoting, if the upvotes for half of that period would be worth ZERO?!

Promoting a post on #Ecency to that is beyond the 7-day curation period has many other benefits, such as the following: 🤓

1. More people reading your post (which is the overall benefit of post Promotion)
2. More engagement (by means of comments)
3. More upvotes (that count towards achievements even if zero value)
4. Higher chance of other users following your profile (and subsequently getting upvotes and comments for your other posts and comments) and reblogging your post
5. Receiving Hive Engine token tips (such as !LUV and !PGM)

If your priority is only about the curation of other users, then it's definitely inefficient to Promote a post past its payout time. 😐
