I've never heard of unit bias and the motive to follow this or not...

Seeing numbers less than 1 (such as 0.1) usually makes the amount appear to be "small", regardless of the price of the token. 🤓 For example, if you have 1 of Token A which is worth $0.1 each and 0.1 of Token B which is $1 each, it will sometimes appear that your Token A has more value than Token B even if they have equal worth based on the quantity you have for each of them and their price. 😏
