Hello dear friends who make life in this excellent Community, here again with you.
Last week I went to the city of Valencia/Carabobo State to visit my mother who was in poor health, I spent 9 days with her and she was very happy with my presence.
She is already 88 years old, she likes to walk and go shopping, but her current condition did not allow it, it is a little difficult for her to walk.
The day it was my turn to come, she started to say that she felt very bad, (she always does), so I asked her: “Mommy, do you want to go up to the pool to spend some time and we will prepare a coffee up there, she immediately answered: ”Of course, my love!
She went to her room, got dressed by herself, put on her glasses and her hat, she was very beautiful! Hahaha. I was already bathed and dressed to leave.
I grabbed a small table, a chair and the implements for the coffee and we went up the elevator.
In the building where my mom lives the pool is located upstairs in the Pent-house, it is outdoors, so you can see the whole city of Valencia, it has a spectacular view!
On the floor below the pool is the party room, that one is covered.
We went upstairs and she was quite motivated, I sat her in the chair while I prepared the coffee pot, we took the opportunity to take some pictures.
We talked about my next visit to her house, she asked me to please not go so long without visiting her since her health was quite deteriorated, I felt a little nostalgic, but we immediately changed the mood when we perceived that exquisite aroma of coffee.
It's ready, I exclaimed! How wonderful! But when I was about to serve the coffee, the weather began to darken and it started to rain immediately (how bad).
As I could I took my mom down to the party room, a very kind man who was doing some repair work at the entrance of the room, helped me to bring things down.
It was there in the party room where we could enjoy that exquisite coffee accompanied by a piece of carrot cake that I had made the day before!...
After tasting this delicious coffee, we offered a cup to the gentleman (worker), who received it with much affection and gratitude.
Then that same man helped me and my mom to the elevator to go back down to the apartment.
We laughed a lot because when we got to the apartment, not only it stopped raining, but it started to be sunny, ¿what do you think? Hahaha.
Well, but that time served, besides tasting a good coffee, to spend another little while with my beloved mother before saying goodbye.

Hi @ayane-chan , really that place is beautiful, it has a wonderful view and weather and it is the first time I go up there with an electric coffee maker to prepare coffee.
As I saw my mother so sad for my departure and I know how much she loves coffee just like me , I came up with that excellent idea , but yes the rain ruined that moment at the pool , but we could enjoy that coffee together for a while in the party room !!!. Touching story. Being so kind to the mam who is working so hard. More importantly, getting to spend so much time with your mom being all nostalgic. When you said, she bought the glasses and a cap, I had a different picture in my mind. But that is probably because of the pool. 🤣✨
Yes my friend @coffeenlove, I was very nostalgic to say goodbye to her, that's why I thought of going up to the pool for a while and share a delicious coffee outdoors, but the rain ruined the moment a little, but in the end we were able to taste that delicious coffee in the party room.
It gave me a good laugh too, when she went to the room and grabbed her glasses and hat.
When it started to rain she grabbed one of the cups without coffee and told me: “take a picture of me looking at the sky before going down”, of course I took it getting wet, hahahaha .... She is very flirtatious.😃💕
