I'm not one of those who think first thing when I wake up is coffee, I don't like dependencies and that includes my precious coffee. For me this is perfect love, I feel wonderful next to you, but there are days I don't want to see you.
However, there are days when I feel that I do depend on a small cup, very strong, morning, slightly sweet and very hot, as happens on Sundays when I work in a friends' bakery from early in the morning. These days I need an additional stimulus and who better than my adored and unconditional coffee to come to my rescue.
Getting up early is something that is very difficult for me, to achieve it on Sundays I literally set about 6 alarms with 10 minutes between each one, one of them has to wake me up and it is never the first one, by the way.
I almost always have coffee at home, it is very good for me because I don't drink it every day, however that morning when I finally woke up, I think it was the third alarm, after a hurried shower, as one who is late walks in a hurry, I heated the water for the coffee and after looking here and there with desperation, I looked everywhere again and again and again, of looking everywhere again and again believing that the package of coffee was laughing at me and my still half asleep eyes could not see it, I remembered distantly that I had given the last bit of coffee I had a couple of days ago to my neighbor.
It is usual for her to ask me for some coffee, even at night she does it sometimes, I always have enough to give her, fortunately, she is a very good neighbor and we always reach out to each other.
Well that morning I not only went to work half asleep but also running because the minutes I wasted looking for the non-existent coffee plus the extra minutes I slept took their toll on m
e.
That day I was very sleepy all morning, more than usual, the truth is that I only thought about my bed, it was a little difficult to do small mental accounts that I usually do in this job, I even think I gave extra money to 2 clients who paid me with 5$ bills. Here in Venezuela things get a bit complicated because the dollar and our local currency circulate freely, besides that, everyone manages the exchange rate at their convenience.
It also happened to me that I collected the money, either in cash or by debit card and did nothing else, I asked the person if they wanted something else to which they answered that I had not delivered the bread yet. Luckily, I didn't run into a grumpy person and amidst laughter and apologies people acted indulgently. Many recommended me to drink a strong coffee.
It was just having a strong coffee that was what was missing to make me feel a little more awake that day. I was hoping that some coffee peddler would pass by, as they often do, not always but quite frequently, but that day not even one passed by until around noon.
I asked him if the coffee was good and of course he said yes, I bought one and it was the total disappointment, it wasn't really hot and it was more of a sweet water with a touch of coffee than anything else.
Well, it was not my day to drink coffee, I just had to wait for the end of my work day that has no fixed schedule but until the time the bread runs out, I will not lie to say that what I most longed for was a cup of coffee, I really longed for my bed.
Oh by the way that bakery prepares coffee for the staff and the owners but I don't like to ask for it because they always serve it cold and that is something I can't tolerate, for me it is totally unpleasant, so early on I discarded that option.
Well, that's how I finished my working day without my Sunday cup of very hot coffee, I just wanted to rest and not think about anything else, my beloved coffee knows that it's when I want it, not when it wants it...
Although I do not deny that I am easily seduced by its aroma, especially when I go to visit my mother, there is no lack of a hot cup of coffee every morning.

Thank you so much =)
Hehe. Been there, friend.
I work everyday except Sundays and Mondays. If I had to work on those days, I should drink twice or thrice the coffee I ususally have, and my morning coffee would be the most important one.
May coffee be always there for you ☕️❤️
And may it always be for you too ☕️ Thank you friend for visiting me =)
I can't take a cold coffee, it has a different and not so good taste for me compared to when it is served hot.
I couldn't stop smiling where you said you literally set like 6 alarms to wake you up, hahaha 😆 for me, I don't know if my alarm wakes me up or I just get up exactly the normal time which is 6 am.
Nice article by the way 👍
Ah yes, the truth is that I set several alarms to wake up on time 😆😆, although most of the time it's hard for me to wake up, it's good to have a good cup of hot coffee to help me.
A cold and watery coffee is the worst thing we can drink, and if you add to that the excessive amounts of sugar, it is better not to drink anything and have a real coffee.
Thanks for sharing your coffee experience with us.☕
Excellent Wednesday.
That's right, just water for that and it's better to wait for a good coffee.
Thanks to you for visiting me ☕☕
Hahaha... Nothing like a strong and hot coffee, I can't imagine drinking a cold coffee, watered down and with a lot of sugar, I feel like I'm getting something... Definitely, I would not like to live that experience, my friend...
Strong and very hot, I also like coffee like that =)
thank you friend, for visiting me ☕
