Happy New Year Hiveians! Last Mother's day 2021, we went to the hometowns of my grandparents, which are in Argao and Dalaguete. After we visited their graves, our family planned to go to the nearby beach. Since the start of the pandemic, we haven't gone to do outdoor activities. So, we were really itching to smell the summer breeze. Unfortunately, when we went to nearby resorts, cottages were fully occupied. We backed out from the beach and went food tripping at Dalaguete's town plaza.
Dalaguete Baywalk
Dalaguete's town plaza or Dalaguete Boardwalk has various food establishments fronting the historical baroque church of San Guillermo Parish. One of the most noticeable one is the coffeeshop Kioskofi. The cafe occupied the well-preserved age-old watch tower of the town. There was even a cannon in front the kiosk.

What makes this coffee shop ideal?
Variation of drinks
Hot and cold beverages were available and with different sizes to choose from. My parents ordered the hot caramel latte and cafe americano. My sister and I ordered Mocha Frappe and Cookies and Cream Frappe. Her boyfriend also ordered a non-coffee Vanilla Frappe. Kioskofi had snacks and cakes available too. We ordered some Korean Manju Cake to match our drinks.

Ambience
Kioskofi is an outdoor cafe with available tables with umbrellas surrounding the watchtower. It was a bit windy when we went there. Luckily the umbrella was secured enough not to be blown by the wind. If the seats are available at the watchtower, you could have the best view of the sea. We went home before dark but I would definitely love to try the place at night. I could just imagine how cozy could it be.

Each of us has our own preferences, like what an ideal coffee shop would be. It could be based on the drinks/food, price, ambience or have specific thing that should be present. What makes it common is for us to have that sparkly feeling of happiness after sipping our favorite cup of coffee.

I've been to Argao and Dalaguete, so I know how beautiful that atmosphere is with stunning views. This coffee shop must bean amazing place to dine from. I particularly like the look of the stone walls, which look like somewhere that has been restored.
