Enjoying a delicious coffee and some sweets is something that my family can never miss and meeting my brothers or my dad on a safe visit to a bakery, where they must sell delicious coffee.
In these meetings, which last for several hours, we usually remember our childhood and the anecdotes of the people who are physically no longer with us.
During these meetings we catch up with our lives and learn about what we have somehow missed from our relatives, because believe it or not, sometimes we are so close and we do not have the time to see each other.
So the cell phone has become the best tool to communicate. Day by day we are so wrapped up in a way that we wake up very early and go to bed very late, where physical contact becomes more and more difficult.
I have understood that when we are adults the dynamics change, especially when we have children and work. This makes the time to share with my family become more and more distant.
That is why we made a family group, in which sometimes we are very active, and in which, at other times, it lasts a long time inactive and it is because of the same dynamics and commitments of each one of us.
The one I usually share the most with is my younger brother. He is the youngest of the boys, but he is still older than me, the youngest of the girls. We are very close and live in neighboring buildings.
However, many times we see each other only by video calls or from his window to mine. And it is for that very reason that each of us is busy with his commitments, so when we have the slightest opportunity to see each other and share a coffee we do.
Many times this happens when something happens to him or to me and we meet to talk about it, or when one of us finds out about something and we try to get together to talk about it and a coffee ends up becoming several.
Since I was little I remember my father taking us to the bakeries to eat sweets and he would take us to have coffee, that was a regular thing. When I was a child I did not drink coffee because my mother said that children did not drink coffee, but as an adult it was a habit that I got into on my own.
Especially because in my work I attended many meetings and I was always offered coffee, until I became more and more demanding with this beverage, until I knew how I liked it and that was the one I asked for.
I am a demanding coffee drinker, that is why I do not change my coffee for any other. However, there are very good coffees that I have had and where I have had them I always return and frequent those places, because a delicious coffee in good company will always be a reason for joy.
