Debuting my new teacups

Hello everyone, coffee lovers, I hope you are having a happy carnival. I don't know how they celebrate it around the world, but here in my country Venezuela they are great.

Today I want to show you some nice little cups that I gave myself to complete my collection. This time I bought three sets of cups, each one has 6 units.

I left one set for myself and the other two sets of cups I gave to my little son's two teachers for an activity that was going to take place at his school. I loved these cups because their size looks delicate and they have enough capacity to drink a coffee and be satisfied.

I saw several models of cups, but none of them convinced me. In general, almost all my cups are large and extra-large and sometimes it happened to me that when offering coffee I filled it too much because I didn't want the cup to look half empty, and because there was a lot, they ended up leaving it many times.

I also have some mugs that are very large and I prefer to drink other types of drinks in them, such as hot chocolate, oatmeal, and even soup.

I am very visual and I always like to feel that the mug is half full and not empty.

So with these little mugs I achieve that goal and, even though they look small, they end up being enough coffee.

My husband says that my mugs look miniature, he is used to the big ones, so many times, when I serve him coffee in them, he grabs the coffee and pours it into a larger mug, he likes it better.

I love them and when I have guests over, I take them out and I can offer them coffee in the same type of mugs, since there are six of them alike and it is more practical even to wash them. I found the 6 in a package for a cost of $10, so I ended up spending $30 in total.

I had not bought mugs for a while, luckily they have not broken lately, so I have taken advantage of investing in other needs for my home and giving myself other treats. So it was a gift that I really liked from myself to myself.

So now in the afternoons and while new ones arrive, I will continue to enjoy my small cups and I will rotate them so that I can use them all. Happy Friday to everyone and enjoy delicious coffees.
