I do not have many anecdotes, but, I remember one in particular, I went with my husband and one of my children to visit some friends, as it is customary in my town, they offered us a cup of coffee ☕.
The friend served me and my husband first, and she was about to get the child's coffee, but my husband immediately tasted it and realized that it was bad 😁 and said: no, don't worry, I'll give him mine, there's enough here, hahaha, I immediately understood that he didn't like it.
She gave the coffee to the boy, and as a boy does not know how to dissimulate, she said: I don't like it, it's bad 🥴 there was an uncomfortable silence, I tried to dissimulate and I drank mine, which was really bad 😁, my friend smiled and said: "no problem" 😁.
The situation was quite uncomfortable, but later we visited again and they offered us another one, this one was really tasty 😁.
At least the coffee that you tasted the second time was tasty. imagine if it would happen again, and it tasted equally as bad as the first time I don't think you would go back to have another cup ever again 🤣 also, it would be sort after tell them that the coffee sucked.
Hahaha yes thank God the second one was good, I think if I hadn't I would have never visited them again, so I wouldn't risk it 😁.
Happy day 🙏
What a shame, that always happens. It is very common to feel embarrassed by others, and it is even worse if it is a friend. I can imagine the discomfort you felt at that moment.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.
It was quite uncomfortable to be honest, but thank God we were able to get out of that situation, hehehehe.
Happy day with a nice cup of coffee ☕.
Oh, it's so embarrassing! It's happened to me with food. Never with coffee. For some reason, I never put much attention to the quality of coffee if the hosts are nice; it doesn't affect me at all. But I must say, I rarely have anything to drink or eat at someone else's place unless we're really close.
Your husband 😉 Haha!
