Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued an Indian girl who had come with a Bangladeshi boyfriend in love and handed it over to BSF. The name of the woman who came to Bangladesh under the guise of love is Shuli Khatun (1). She is the daughter of Subed Sheikh of the village Thuraikhana East of Dinhata police station in Kuch Bihar district of West Bengal, India. He was handed over by the BGB-BSF flag meeting near the sub-pillars of No. 8 Pillar on the Nakharjan border of the upazila on Monday afternoon.

According to sources in BGB and locals, Sheuli returned to Bangladesh along with her son-in-law Rubel Sheikh, 27, of Gangarhat Mistripara village in Fulbari upazila of Kurigram district on Saturday. Meanwhile, father Subed Sheikh complained to BSF not finding the girl. The BSF sent a letter to the Bangladeshi Kashipur BGB camp demanding the return of Shuli. The BGB rescued Shuli on Monday morning after conducting a search in different places. Gangarhat BGB's Naik Subedar Zaheer Uddin and BGF sub-inspector Jiteen Dhar Singh led the BGB for the flag meeting.
In this connection, Lalmonirhat 3 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Colonel Touhid-ul-Alam said the girl had been rescued and handed over to the BSF in the wake of the Indian BSF letter.
