There is so much here that is really exciting! Working on the infrastructure and development tools to allow individual and enterprise solutions is going to add so much value to the entire industry as a whole.
May I ask how OpenOrchard will make money? Will it mainly consulting enterprises on the implementation of the open-source tools it develops? Or have I misunderstood something?
Hey man! Please ask questions! The plan is not to consult. OpenOrchard plans to offer blockchain integration, user database management, and cross-platform encrypted messaging as free, “loss leader,” features which ultimately enhance the value proposition of paid services like dapp hosting, API as a product, and analytics.
Ahhhh, that's really super smart. I love that business model as it'll help startups that can only afford the barebones, but offers a more complete package to companies that can afford it.
