I'm a newcomer and have only been around the hive and steem community for about a month.
Three weeks ago I suggested Jarvie, from PeakD, in the Hive discord channel to integrate an encrypted messaging function. Unfortunately some members smiled at it as not feasible.
So I'm very happy to read this announcement from you now, that you are developing such a feature, that even works cross-platform.
Furthermore, I am already excited about your new Blockchain Koinos, if I have understood correctly. I can remember that @theoretical wrote in a post about 4-5 weeks ago that a new blockchain should be founded which allows true decentralization.

I see great hope in you, as I am disappointed with the voting and rewards system in Hive and Steem.
Because of people like you, Michael Vandeberg, Steve Gerbino and @theoretical I have invested in Steem three years ago respectively Hive and as soon as I can get my Hive off Binance, I will use it to vote you and support your ideas of true decentralization!
And finally, are you still working on the completion of SMT's?
