Today being Sunday is already structured and recognised as a special day by many people.
For the record, I don't care about how Sunday is perceived in terms of being the first or last day of the week. All I know is that Sunday is one of those days I always look forward to because I expect it to be sublime from start to finish.
Left for me, waking up this morning is enough to make me excited to face whatever this day has to throw on my path.
"That's kinda generic". Yeah, I know!
On a more serious note, below are more specific activities/incidents that made this day sublime:
Firstly, I felt an expected rush of emotions during today's Mass celebration.
It is expected because the same thing happens whenever I'm attending my last Mass as a parishioner in any Parish. All thanks to my relocation plans which is already perfected by my maker, I would be attending next Sunday Mass in a Parish which I'm yet to know its name or exact location.
After today's church activities, I walked around the church premises knowing fully well that I enjoyed every time I spent as an active parishioner in the parish. I don't know the next time I would be able to worship in the parish, but I know that my spiritual growth is still in motion. It's a good day to say goodbye.
Goodbye to the Parish. Heavenly race is still the ultimate plan and I'm not slacking off on it.
Secondly, I had a plan to do my laundry today and the plan was a successful one.
I guess I can count that as one of the things that makes this day memorable. After all, I did the laundry, albeit some distractions.
Just when I was supposed to start the laundry, I decided to check my feed on YouTube and the usual thing happened. One video led to another and another until I lost count of the number of videos I watched. The good news is, the videos were quite educative and the tips I got would help to improve me. On the other hand, the timing was WRONG.
Long story short, I got to do my laundry later than planned. Lol.
Thirdly, I finally got an opportunity to seat one-on-one with a friend and show him some stuff about Hive.
This meeting has been dragged on for far too long and I'm sure that we could have done it virtually, but he preferred a physical meeting. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze out some time for him so, he came around this afternoon and I'm excited to see how the whole Hive stuff which seemed like rocket science was becoming demystified throughout my meeting with him.
Unfortunately, I won't be available for another physical meeting, but I know that he will be able to drop an introductory post before 48 hours. "Thus says my intuition. Haha".
Hope you all had a sublime Sunday ✌️
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Hello @kenechukwu97. What a thoughtful act to take the last walk through the grounds. You want to remember the parish and the last time you were there. You'll take these memories with you.
Good luck on your journey as you move elsewhere. I hope your new parish suits your needs. As you say, "your spiritual journey will continue." Good for you.
Thanks for sharing.
Exactly... The memories will be there and I will always hold it dear in my heart. I know that I can still get back to the parish whenever I want, but even if I do, it will be for visitation.
Thanks Alot. I also hope to find people that are focused in the new Parish so that the fire burning in me will evenly burn higher
You are doing so well guiding people through in hive. I can't relate to walking around the church after service because I was always in a hurry to get home, or maybe the kids lol.
Guiding people through hive is a really fulfilling activity for me. I just want to be sure that anyone that declares interest and is ready to work genuinely would get a good start.
Hahah... I know what you mean. I'm also like that. I just head home immediately except when I have some meetings to attending in church premises after the service.
But whenever I'm bidding farewell, it becomes a different ball game
Woow. You really took your time by going round the premises as that might be your last Sunday there except God permits you come back. I don't do laundry on Sunday. It's my day to sleep and get energized for the new week ahead. And for discussing hive with someone, I think I need help to o to navigate because I haven't been able to understand it since more than 5months I signed in. Although I was busy at a time to even give hive time. But am ready now
Hahah... I can come back whenever I want, but that would be me coming back as a visiting member because I will now relocate to Ibadan and I want to be focused in that place for a while
That's nice sir. Please take good care of your self over there. I know they would miss you as you are a personality to be reckon with.
