Friday being a holiday for us here in Muscat, it is an outing day also. It was Valentine day as well, me and my valentine decided to spend our evening at the park near our home. I geared up with my walking shoes as the park also has a walking path. This last week, both me and hubby were under the weather and we missed our walk routines, so on Friday we wanted some activity to make us active again.
This is a new place which has recently been made, it's a nice long walking path with flower beds all across the path. There is a lane for cycling as well.
I found this zig zag ground lighting very attractive.
Since it's a new place, I clicked a few pictures of the park. It's made very beautifully. I do not see many people here, possibly with time it will get known to everyone in the city. It was also surprising that not many people were here, that too on a weekend. It is a very small city so when something new opens up, there is excitement to watch, it was quite the opposite here. Guess with time it will be known to more people and then people will start visiting this place. In a way I like it that it's empty.
These shades are good for day time walks, because it really gets hot, especially in the summer when the heat is killing.
It was a good celebration of the valentine day for me and hubby, spending time at this place. This place has no name so far, it's just an open park touching the highway. It's very beautifully made. I told hubby that from now on we should come for our evening walks to this place as I find it very pleasant.
