Being a weekend me and my son decided to take a break and go out for some shopping. It's festive season and also his birthday is coming up, so I wanted to buy him a Birthday present of his choice and buy whatever his other necessities were there. The roads and life in Mumbai city are pretty much back to normal, rather I see more people out on the road these days then before. It's probably because people have been indoors for a very long time and now everyone wants to get out, do shopping, eat out, enjoy life.
We went to one of the big mall in the city, called Phoenix mall, but because of Vaccine issues they did not allow us to enter, anyways I would not even want to then entertain myself in such places, so we left from there and then went to the most busiest place of Mumbai city, the Colaba area. If you ever visit to Mumbai, this is one area that one must visit. The area is full of branded shops as well as a lot of local shops are also there and a variety of Restaurants and Pubs. The beauty of this place is that it provides a range to fit whatever budget one comes with. You have shops which are very reasonable and then there are high brand shops as well, the whole of this street is also filled up with road side shops which sell a lot of antique stuff.
First important thing to start on our shopping list was my son Yohan's birthday gift. He wanted a MacBook Pro, so we visited the electronics shop Croma. Thankfully he got one of his choice and that was quick. He is very happy with his birthday gift 💖 After finishing that we then started looking out for his other things. He wanted to buy shoes, bag and some other miscellaneous things for his daily use. We spent almost 4 hours shopping and he could get al that he wanted to buy.
By the time shopping got over, it was late and both of us were hungry so we decided to have dinner somewhere there itself. My son is a foodie and he always grabs the opportunity of eating out...hehehe. We went to this Restaurant Smoke House Deli. They serve Italian cuisine and I always enjoy the food there. All their products are ethically sourced and they use local ingredients that are healthy and organic, and hence for the same reason they have a very limited menu.

This is what I ordered Roast Chicken with barbeque sauce and veggies. It was yummy
This is what Yohan ordered, one dish is prawns wrapped in bacon and another is beef roast in barbeque sauce. Since I do not eat Beef and Bacon, I could not taste them, but his expressions were enough to say that both of them were yummy.
And, it is time for deserts. We ordered a chocolate mousse. This one is made absolutely without flour and is made from dark chocolate with stevia. Though I will not say very healthy but still in comparison with the regular one it is better and can fill up your taste buds.

Both of us had some wonderful time with yummy food and a lot of talks. Saturday well spent with my loved one.
