As Dorothy follows the yellow brick road to find the wonderful wizard of oz, I follow the "Beach" signs to find my favourite swimming spot - the beach!

To get to this beach we had to venture through the thick bushes that make up Durbans coasts, following the overgrown beach signs.

I enjoy finding peculiar looking flowers.

After a lovely morning at the beach, we walk back and spend some time by the pool. Beach holidays are just going from relaxing in one location to relaxing in a different location.

Ah, nothing better than that view.

These are some more picture of the pathway that leads down to the beach area, an abandoned and overgrown railway track.

Is it just me who enjoys photographing these trees?

This sweet swimming bench was located right outside our chalet which was perfect for a morning coffee and afternoon read!

I thought I would just share some more of my favourite photos that have been sitting in my camera roll since our holiday in May...I may be biased but I am convinced that South Africa has the most beautiful beaches!

Looking over these pictures is making me crave some salty sea air again. Take me back to the beach!

We are in December now, which means most people are getting time off, are you going on a fun holiday this December?
