Spring is in full force here in Montreal. The warm weather is pleasant, but I haven't quite had my fill of winter sports. On that theme, here are the remains of an old chair lift on the north side of Mount Royal. It has seen better days, and is now abandoned. No more skiing here.
This was shot with a Helios 44-m4 lens. Like the lift itself, the lens is an obsolete relic from days gone by. But it still has unique charm, and gives that special bokeh to the background.
That winter days are coming here in south America, Patagonia will have a good snow this year, love the effect of the helios, my girlfriends has one with a zenit 12xp, just lost art.
Nice. Enjoy the winter, and I look forward to seeing more of your great landscape photos.
