This mountain top is Pico, the highest mountain in Portugal. The hight is 2.351 meters above sea level. It's not located on mainland Portugal, but on the Azorean island by the name of Pico. The island is rather small, so the mountain is dominating the view where ever you are on the island. Pico is an active volcano. I did the hike to the very top, It was a very strenous hike that took the whole day. When I saw it from the plane (going home) I couldn't believe I had been to the top.
