PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - Jumping Adanson

in PhotoFeed2 years ago

This is my entry for @photofeed macro photography contest, and if you wish to join, please kindly read and follow all the rules and guidelines here

For this contest, I have photos of jumping spiders that I usually find on the dining table in my workplace. I have seen this guy very often, but I don't really manage to get a good shots of him, since he moves quite fast.

I took the photos for this post at a different times since I only get a few nice shots and every encounter. I hope I can get better photos of this jumping spider next time.

This jumping spider is called Hasarius adansoni, and apparently, they are commonly found in areas with a warmer climate. He is commonly called Adansoni's house jumper from the name of French Naturalist Michel Adanson. A cool name for this little guy. : )
