Night Photography at the Schloegener Schlinge in Austria

The Schloegener Schlinge is a nice River Bend of the Danube River in Upper Austria and I have already visited it several times in the last years. It is not so far away from my home place and in summer and in Winter I took several pictures of the river bend during blue hour. Right after sunset when there is still some light from the sun but only with a little bit of orange and violet colors I think it is the best time to do some nice longtime exposure shots of landscapes and also buildings and cityscapes. Last year I only took very few pictures in the blue hour. Next summer I have to try some more pictures during the time of the sunset again.

Of course I also want to take some pictures of the milkyway again. I really need to combine these two types of photography when the milky way is visible early in summer. Because then I can probably continue taking pictures of the milky way when I finished with the blue hour photography, But I need to find a spot where it is dark enough for milky way and still some interesting foreground for the blue hour.

Look at some very beautiful pictures my friend

Woooww... words fail to describe how great the pictures you bring here.

Ah could be better, there is some disturbance of the trees that the wind blows in at the right side of the frame and 30 seconds were a bit to long so some stars already started to make a tiny trail. but now I know this and I can try to improove this year.
