Some years ago i was totally fascinated by blue hour photography in the evening. Since the colors on the pictures are a lot different than you see them in reality. The blue in the sky is in reality often much softer and not so strong. Often I already see a dark sky in reallity and because of the longtime exposure I am still able to take some nice blue hour shots that look much better on picture than in reality. Usually reality looks better but this is not true for the blue hour, in reality the blue hour is often unspectacular when watching it after sunset. But on Pictures it often looks very good. I love taking pictures of interesting structures that have a nice light effect like these bridges.

I really like spots with nice lights that can be captured at blue hour, and I am looking for places that fit for taking pictures in this time. But this is not so easy since not everything looks great in this time. I noticed that buildings or structures that are enlighted by an artificial light are the best for this kind of photography. The combination of the blue sky and the artificial light is always very interesting. But I remember taking several pictures at blue hour in Greece some years ago and there I also often didn't have any artificial light but the pictures were still very interesting.
