My entry is the old town of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which features iconic Balkan Islamic architecture and a beautiful natural setting. The well-known Old Bridge was destroyed during the Croat-Bosnian War and later rebuilt. It was viewed as a symbol of peace, and I witnessed brave people jump 24 meters off the bridge into the Neretva river below.
