When you take photos you should always have a look to the opposite side. Especially when you photograph a sunrise or a sunset the vis-a-vis is often more colourful, but this moonrise was honestly a very welcome surprise and you should have seen my big eyes when suddenly the full moon climbed up from behind the mountains 😁
Finding a windy road is quite easy here, but this road was new to me and I really had fun. Snowy roads are slippery but different from icy roads ... icy roads are dangerous but snowy roads make fun 😀

Capturing both normally happens when away on holiday, mountains or up North Coast, not something one gets to enjoy often.
Mountains definitely gave many more beautiful options on this outing. Driving on roads would be a new experience, perhaps something to enjoy, might never know. !LOLZ

sorry for another late reply, but yesterday I have come home too late to turn the computer on 😴
Tomorrow we are going to visit our daughter and other relatives in the flat north of Austria - Lower Austria. I love and enjoy the flat countryside and the rolling hills there, but after a couple of days I would get homesick for the mountains.
Oh yes, driving on a narrow and windy mountain road would be an experience you'd probably never forget 😀

Good morning Joan,
I haven't had any time to go online at work and at home I wasn't in the mood to turn the computer on, so I'm so sorry for another late response.
My weekend was great and we have had a lot of fun. Didn't have much time for photography and still haven't had a look at the few photos I've made on Sunday morning. Maybe during my 24-hour shift on Saturday I will find some time. But at the moment there's so much to do 😅 !LOLZ
I hope no fires nor floods have happened down there, or that at least it wasn't too bad and no people were harmed.
