A less photographed angle of Mt Cook in NZ.
A simple composition and shot but from a memorable experience. Following a track that leads away from the shore of Hooker Lake and towards the glacier. I found a spot with this nice reflection and shot well into full dark. I captured some Aurora in the opposite direction as well and then walked most of the 5km hike back in starlight without my head torch. Hiking in darkness (on a familiar and easy track), I find more immersive in the environment than during the day.
