Last week my sister invited me to lunch at her apartment.
She lives on the third floor of a building that has a very distinctive and peculiar architectural style, with balconies, some semicircular and others rectangular, that project into the void. In addition, each apartment has completely different areas and internal distributions, so no two are alike.
It consists of two completely independent apartment towers, joined together by a central module that contains the emergency stairs, built according to the seismic-resistant regulations in force in Venezuela.
In all this time, I had not had the opportunity to photograph it in detail, even though I missed some areas and the side facades.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
La semana pasada mi hermana me invitó a almorzar en su apartamento.
Ella vive en un tercer piso de un edificio que posee un estilo arquitectónico bastante distintivo y peculiar, con balcones, algunos semicirculares y otros rectangulares, que se proyectan al vacío. Además, cada apartamento cuenta con áreas y distribuciones internas completamente diferentes, por lo que no hay dos iguales.
Consta de dos torres de apartamentos completamente independientes, unidos entre sí por un módulo central que contiene las escaleras de emergencia, construído acorde a las normativas sismoresistentes vigentes en Venezuela.
En todo este tiempo, no había tenido la oportunidad de fotografiarlo con detenimiento, aún cuando me faltaron algunas áreas y las fachadas laterales.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
