Yellow, along with red and orange, is considered a warm color, that is, those colors that are located in the upper part of the chromatic circle, and are characterized mainly by the ability to convey feelings of warmth, joy, enthusiasm, passion, intimacy and closeness.
A few years ago, while we were driving along the José Antonio Páez Highway in the western Venezuelan plains, we came across an extensive sunflower field on the side of the road, just a few minutes away from the twin cities of Acarigua and Araure.
Faced with that beautiful landscape that nature was offering us, we decided to park, as other drivers had done, on the side of the road to walk through the field with extreme caution so as not to damage the flowers, and take dozens of photos that I still keep in my personal image archives.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
El amarillo, junto al rojo y el naranja, es considerado un color cálido, es decir, son aquellos colores que se ubican en la parte superior del círculo cromático, y se caracterizan fundamentalmente por la capacidad de transmitir sensaciones de calor, alegría, entusiasmo, pasión, intimidad y cercanía.
Hace unos años atrás, mientras recorríamos en carro la Autopista José Antonio Páez en los llanos occidentales venezolanos, nos encontramos de forma sorpresiva con un extenso sembradío de girasoles a un costado de la vía, a tan sólo unos minutos de las ciudades gemelas de Acarigua y Araure.
Ante aquel hermoso paisaje que nos obsequiaba la naturaleza, tomamos la decisión de estacionarnos, tal como lo habían otros conductores, en la orilla para recorrer el campo con extrema precaución para no dañar las flores, y tomar decenas de fotos que aún conservo en mis archivos personales de imágenes.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
