Hello everyone, I chose 2 street pictures for today. I plan to tell their stories in order.Unlike my other articles, I will put these 2 pictures first, which are already above now.
- First Picture :
During summer days, Izmir Konak Square could be the scene of quite colorful images. Because at that time, tursites were coming, our country's economy was also better, and the public filled this square on weekends. The peculiarity of this square is that it has a historical clock tower and it is the first place where Hasan Tahsin went against the Greeks, who already has a statue in this square. Anyway let's get to our topic. This square is also among my frequent destinations. A beautiful place with the possibility of taking a lot of portraits...
But my camera seemed a little bad to me. No it was really bad. At that time, I sold the Canon EOS 5D and bought Canon EOS 60D for a while, and unfortunately the ISO performance of this camera was heartbreaking. Fortunately, the lens in front of the camera was a very successful lens.
It was hot, I have been walking for about 1.5 hours and I couldn't even shoot an useful frame properly. I'll be back home...Bus stop was just ahead of me...Suddenly I came across this uncle. In order to avoid being affected by the heat, he was wearing the umbrella on his head and the photo frame I was looking for with his tired facial features. Of course, I took my camera off my neck and took a picture of this handsome uncle...He was selling bird feed and water... After taking his photo, I went to him. I showed the shot I took and got a bottle of water...He liked the photo I took...:)
- Second Picture :
Those who read my old writings know. The person taking the photograph should be ready at any time. Because you can never predict when a good square will appear.
This time I am returning from a photo shoot and on the way we talked with my buddy on the phone on the bus. He said let's meet in Bayraklı. We walked a little bit on the beach and talked over the phone to get a little trouble. I got off the bus. My buddy was waiting at the top of the stairs. He saw me and called down, gesturing. I got off, we greeted. After chatting a little bit, we said to sit somewhere to drink coffee. Anyway, while I was sitting in a coffee shop in a narrow neighborhood, I saw this friend passing by. and of course I took my camera off and took a picture of it. This time I loved my machine that I still love it. At that time, I have the Sony a7R, and in front of my camera is the Voigtlander 15mm f4.5. But it is the first version of the lens and makes a lot of vignette. Especially in color shots...Although there is not much trouble in black and white shots, colorful frames were disasters. But this vignette in the frame does not show up very badly. So at least I feel that way.
Why I told these stories? Look, two different situations and two different lenses...The street photographer should update the lens selection according to his location. Consider what could I shoot with a 70-200mm lens in that narrow street?
If you are going to take pictures, you should have changed the lens depending on your situation and purpose.
This was the purpose of these stories.
Friends, take care of yourself and wish you a happy and peaceful day
