On Monday my relatives came to my house, they came to visit for three days and taking advantage of going out to different places I took some pictures to participate in the PhotoFeed photo contests, I have always liked to participate in these contests because it is a good exercise to improve my technique, I didn't take too many pictures because it can become uncomfortable to follow my steps, sometimes I am driving and I see something that interests me and I stop the car as soon as possible, sometimes it is so far that I have to run back to the place I saw, sometimes there is enough space to park.
But well, yesterday we went to some public pools of which I have already shown pictures, and I am not going to show pictures of the place again, the place looks exactly the same so I don't see the point, what was different was that on the way there were mangoes! oh yes, we are already in that season in which the road has a sweet smell of ripe mangoes and different types of mangoes, but it's not what I'm going to upload pictures today, as I say I was looking at the places that I think are good to take pictures, and the truth is that I only had my camera and the Canon 24mm lens so there are many frames that I liked but I need the other lenses for the photo to come out as planned, plus I need the tripod because some pictures will be almost past the golden hour.
Anyway on our way back we passed by the Laguna de Mora, another place I have already talked about and shown pictures of, we got to eat a coconut by the lagoon and while I was there I decided I had to take the following image, it is not a contest picture or at least I wouldn't consider it for the contest, however and even though I have taken pictures here before, I hadn't gone on this schedule that I remember, so I found the sunset light interesting over the mountains.
The contrast is super marked because behind me is another mountain that completely covers the light of the sunset, I thought about removing all the imperfections caused by the garbage, but honestly I have always had a conservative mentality about it, I like to remove imperfections such as spots on the sensor or mosquitoes that fly and come out in the picture, but when it comes to show the landscape or the city, I am convinced that everything counts and speaks for itself, if the place is visited by dirty people, that's how the picture should be portrayed because that's how the place is, removing too much in a picture takes away its meaning and when you go to visit the place you feel disappointed because it is not what you saw before in a photograph! Well when that happens you can complain to the photographer, I invite you to do it.
And well this is the original photo, you can see the small color and exposure adjustments I made to improve the image a little bit, as I said it is not the right photo to enter the landscape contest, although I think I already have it and I am working on it, so soon I will make that post, see you in the next one.
