My homeland dreams of fallen angels in the crucifixion of stones.

An angel raises his finger
to show us the way...

Another angel hesitates.
One hand catches the wind.
The other hand...
also hesitates.

But another angel arrives
with an angel's face,
beautiful,
gentle,
irreverently dirty
so as not to sin
for the sin of the wicked,

and raises his hand
next to the one,
who, far away,
lowers his face,
so as not to show the guilt
of one who dreams
of his homeland.

Sueña mi patria con ángeles caídos en la crucifixión de las piedras.

Un ángel levanta el dedo
para señalarnos el camino...

Otro ángel duda.
Una mano atrapa al viento.
La otra mano...
también duda.

Pero llega otro ángel
con cara de ángel,
hermosa,
suave,
irreverentemente sucia
para no pecar
por el pecado de los impíos,

y levanta su mano
junto a aquel,
que lejos,
baja su rostro,
para no mostrar la culpa
de quien sueña
con su patria.
