Hi everyone.
Just got back from a vacation I spent with my two sons. This year I decided to go to Karpacz. A small city located in the Sudetes mountains in Poland. It was a man's getaway full of peace, rest and sightseeing. we decided to do one interesting thing every day, and spend the rest of the time relaxing in a beautiful hotel.
The weather was beautiful so on the first day we went for a trip to Chojnik Castle. The castle (or actually its ruins) is located on the mountain in the National Park and you have to reach it via a forest trail. The castle is impressive despite its damage, and there is a beautiful view from its walls. As pictured below.
The next day we went to the "Wrzosówka" waterfall. We wanted to take a bath in the river but the place was in the National Park and swimming was forbidden. At the same time, i took a picture there.
Yet another time, we went to the city center of Karpacz to visit the Wang Temples. Today it is an Evangelical church, but it was moved in 1842 from Vang on Lake Vangsmjosa in Norway. It looks very nice and the most interesting thing is that it was built without nails.
A little sport at the end of the summer vacation. We tried golf for the first time. Our instructor explained the rules of the game to us and we practiced hitting. The fun was exceptional, the sons liked it and we will definitely come back to this game one day.
That's it ..
Holidays were over and it was time to go home. I'm glad you watched this piece of my holiday story. I hope to go to rest soon with my sons.
See you next time
