In the PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 94 organized by @Photofeed, I shared two photos of vast expanses of rice fields. The location in the photo is one of the agricultural areas in Geumpang sub-district, Pidie district, Aceh, Indonesia. There are two photos in this post, but the first photo in this post is my contribution to the photofeed contest.

The vast expanse of rice fields with a backdrop of mountains that appear far away in the distance creates a beautiful and calming view. Rice fields, as a source of life for farmers, are often a symbol of prosperity and food security.

The distant mountains provide a stunning contrast, with sharp natural lines and silhouettes that are often covered by fog or clouds. Although they appear far away, the mountains give a sense of depth to the landscape and show the harmonious relationship between the farmland and the greater wilderness. This kind of view reminds us of how small humans are in the midst of the vastness of nature, but also shows the importance of maintaining the balance of nature so that life continues to run well.
