The main thing is, besides this token has a totally different tokenomics than Steemit's tribe token, this Hive token has attached club's curation rewards if you directly purchase it in the market and there is absolute no other way of getting this TLNT Hive tokens than that way, unless Steemit's that had many ways of earning it for free.
Since Steemit's TLNT token was free airdropped, earned if the club upvoted on you, earned just by staking it through time and Steemit's didn't had any curation's reward attached (you can check also our Steemit's token introduction to check its tokenomics), we can't compensate Steemit's tribe token balances because are two totally different systems implemented for two totally different tokens.
