Commemoration ceremony for the VIII National Santri Day, October 22, 2022 at the Almadinatuddiniah Syamsuddhuha Cot Murong Dayah, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency. Acting as Ceremony Supervisor Pj. North Aceh Regent Azwardi, AP., M.Si and Riski Aulia Fonna acted as Ceremony Leaders, who were also students of Dayah Almadinatuddiniah Syamsuddhuha.
Present were DPRK Chairman Arafat Ali, elements of the North Aceh Forkopimda, local Muspika, Dayah almadinatuddiniyah Leader syamsyuddhuha Tgk Ahmadi S.Pdi, Waled Jalaluddin Ibrahim, Dayah leaders in North Aceh, Head of the Ministry of Religion Office, Heads of SKPK and Dayah Teacher Council Syamsyuddhuha.
In commemoration of the VIII National Santri Anniversary, Santri must be ready and active in dedicating their souls to Indonesia, the history of students has been recorded in being persistent against enemies in big cities in Indonesia when Indonesia was colonized, this is historical evidence of defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Since being established by President Joko Widodo through Presidential Decree No. 22 of 2015 has set October 22 as National Santri Day. The stipulation of October 22 refers to the issuance of the "Jihad Resolution" which contains a fatwa on the obligation to carry out jihad in order to defend Indonesia's independence. This jihad resolution then gave birth to the heroic event on November 10, 1945 which we commemorate as Heroes' Day.
Since Santri Day was established in 2015, we always hold a commemoration every year with a different theme. For 2022, the commemoration of Santri Day has the theme "Empowering to Maintain Human Dignity".
The purpose of the theme Empowering to Maintain Human Dignity is that historically santri have always been actively involved in every phase of Indonesia's journey. When Indonesia called, santri never said no. Santri with various backgrounds were ready to dedicate their lives to the nation and state.
In his mandate, Pj. The Regent of North Aceh also invited to pray together for the heroes, especially from the ulama, kiai, and students who have been martyred on the battlefield for the benefit of the nation and religion. May the souls of the nation's heroes be placed in the best by Allah, SWT. Amiiin.
After the ceremony was over, Pj. The Regent of North Aceh, the Chairman of the DPRK, the Head of the Dayah Education Office and the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion presented certificates of appreciation to 4 outstanding students who were witnessed by all ceremony participants.
