Perubahan iklim telah menjadi momok menakutkan secara global mengingat dampak yang ditimbulkan tidak hanya sebatas satu daerah saja tetapi seluruh dunia bisa dalam bahaya akibat perubahan iklim ini. Perubahan iklim adalah perubahan sigifikan pada iklim, suhu udara dan curah hujan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh naiknya temperatur bumi akibat dari peningkatan konsentrasi gas rumah kaca pada atmosfer bumi. Salah satu penyebab anomali ini adalah pembakaran sampah yang marak terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat. Partikel hasil pembakaran dari sampah dapat melepaskan emisi karbon (C). emisi ini merupakan penyumbang terbesar terhadap pemanasan global pemicu perubahan iklim. Selain dari karbon, partikel hasil pembakaran dari sampah dapat memicu Karbon monoksida (CO) yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan pernafasan secara berkelanjutan.
Climate change has become a frightening specter globally, considering that the impacts are not only limited to one area but the whole world can be in danger due to this climate change. Climate change is a significant change in climate, air temperature and rainfall. This is caused by the increase in the earth's temperature as a result of the increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere. One of the causes of this anomaly is the burning of waste that is rife in the community. Particles resulting from the combustion of waste can release carbon (C) emissions. These emissions are the biggest contributor to global warming that triggers climate change. Apart from carbon, particles resulting from burning waste can trigger carbon monoxide (CO) which can affect respiratory health in a sustainable manner.
karena sadar akan dampak yang dihasilkan di masa yang akan mendatang, maka dari itu Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan melakukan sosialisasi interaktif dengan tema “Sosialisasi Mitigasi Perubahan Iklim Melalui Pengelolaan Sampah Yang Bijak.” Sosialisasi ini ditujukan kepada anak-anak jenjang Sekolah Dasar SDIT Al-Hikmah Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan sebagai generasi muda penggerak bangsa di masa depan.
Because we are aware of the impacts that will be generated in the future, therefore the Environmental Service of Pangkajene and Islands Regency conducted interactive socialization with the theme "Socialization of Climate Change Mitigation Through Wise Waste Management." This socialization is aimed at elementary school children at SDIT Al-Hikmah, Pangkajene and Islands Regency as the young generation that drives the nation in the future.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada Kamis, 13 Oktober 2022 pukul 10:00 – 12:00 WITA di Bank Sampah Induk TPST (Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah Terpadu) Padamampu di Jl. Matahari Kecamatan Minasatene Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Kami menyediakan fasilitas berupa tampilan SlideShow materi PPT menarik, terpal sebagai tempat duduk sederhana, air minum dan tumblr sebaga hadiah partisipasi kepada seluruh anak-anak yang ikut bergabung.
This activity was carried out on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:00 – 12:00 WITA at the TPST Main Waste Bank (Integrated Waste Management Site) Padamampu on Jl. Matahari, Minasatene District, Pangkajene Regency and Islands. We provide facilities in the form of a Slideshow display of attractive PPT material, tarpaulin as a simple seat, drinking water and a tumblr as a participation gift to all children who join.
Pokok penyampaian kami berfokus kepada pengantar perubahan iklim, sampah sebagai pencemar lingkungan, metode pemilahan sampah yang baik dan strategi pengelolaan sampah secara bijak dalam menekan laju perubahan iklim. Syukurlah pada saat itu, anak-anak sangatlah antusias dan proaktif dalam merespon pemateri. Kami menaruh harapan sebesar-besarnya kepada guru pembimbing mereka untuk selalu mengawasi dan memberi arahan lanjut terhadap anak-anak setelah ajang sosialisasi selesai.
Our main focus is on introducing climate change, waste as an environmental pollutant, good waste sorting methods and wise waste management strategies in suppressing the rate of climate change. Thankfully at that time, the children were very enthusiastic and proactive in responding to the presenters. We have high hopes for their supervising teachers to always supervise and provide further direction to the children after the socialization event is over.
Generasi muda mempunyai peluang besar untuk belajar, apalagi sekarang era digital. Semuanya serba mudah diakses di tangan dalam sentuhan jari. Kami berharap kegiatan sosialisasi yang kami berikan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam pola perkembangan dan kebiasaan mereka dalam pengelolaan sampah agar dampak perubahan iklim kedepannya dapat diminimalisirkan.
The younger generation has great opportunities to learn, especially now in the digital era. Everything is easily accessible in the hand at the touch of a finger. We hope that the socialization activities that we provide can have a positive impact on their development patterns and habits in waste management so that the impact of climate change in the future can be minimized.
