In addition, elephants are also one of the animals protected by the Indonesian government. However, there are still human beings who take advantage and kill elephants.
Well, currently there are several locations where tame elephants are placed to repel or repel wild elephants that are in conflict with the community. Wild elephants often appear because they lack food in their habitat.
increasingly brutal illegal logging. so that the remaining herd of elephants cannot live in the forest due to the lack of food reserves in the forest.
Some time ago, I went to a tame elephant sanctuary which is 30 kilometers from the city center. There I could see firsthand a tame elephant.
There I also took some photos of elephant activities guided by the trainer there.
