Without realizing it, the holy month of Ramadan has left Muslims all over the world. Meugang day is in sight. One day before Eid arrives, Muslims are used to enjoy sacrificial meat, which is called the day of meugang.
This is one of the corners of Geudong city in my area, North Aceh district, Aceh-Indonesia. The atmosphere when the meugang day arrives, is enlivened by people who want to get meat to be enjoyed with their beloved family. As one of the victories after fasting for a whole month.
The most visited place is where the sale of beef. The price per kilo for meat is Rp. 180.000,00, while for bones it is Rp. 100,000.00. For the community, although it is a little expensive, the meat must be brought home.
